Dr. Craig Rathjen

Dr. Craig Rathjen’s introduction to dentistry came early in life. His next-door neighbor worked as an orthodontist, and his confirmation sponsor in church was his family dentist. Those two people, whom he greatly admired, inspired him to pursue a career in the dental field. During high school and his undergraduate years, his career path never wavered.

After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Rathjen has continued to pursue his dental education. He participates in a number of study clubs and attends continuing education courses every year. He participated in an 11-course curriculum at The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL.

All of this has prepared him to help his patients get the most out of their dental care. Dr. Rathjen has shown his patients the profound effect that a healthy smile has on their relationships, first impressions, and life challenges. He gains a great deal of joy and fulfillment when he sees the happiness and satisfaction on their faces. He has seen firsthand that quality dental care improves lives and gives people the beautiful smiles they have always wanted!

As a result of his excellence in dentistry, Dr. Rathjen has received numerous awards. He has been named a Top Dentist multiple times by Minnesota Monthly and Mpls. St. Paul Magazine and is in their Hall of Fame.

Away from the office, Dr. Rathjen’s passion is his family – his wife, their children, and grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and competing in trap and skeet.
